CHOOSE YOUR HEADSHOTS
When choosing your actors' headshots from your contact sheet, try to go for at least one or two headshots with plenty of light, and an open and honest character. Casting directors prefer to be able to see the whole face, with minimal shadow, fairly face-on, with a neutral and "out-going" character, so that they feel they're seeing the real you.
Another tip for actors headshots, is to choose an appealing, neutral facial expression, with an "aire" of being relaxed, something that they feel they can get along with you. I recommend choosing at least one outdoor shot for this purpose.
