FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT HEADSHOT PHOTOGRAPHY

Where are you based?
My studio is located in North London: 20 mins walk from Bounds Green Tube or private pick-up by private arrangement. Click here for a map. Postcode: N13 4TL. If you wish to arrange a photoshoot at another location, please let me know.

Do you use digital or film?
I use both. I currently use a digital camera for headshots, as it means faster processing for you, and can achieve a higher quality during re-touching. Although many differences, in my opinion, the main difference to watchout for in headshot work between digital and film is depth of field. Any good photographer knows how to achieve the same results on digital aswell as film.

Do you have a big studio with lots of impressive equipment on show?
Don't expect that good photography requires huge fashion lights and large equipment, as this simply isn't the case! The best photography is achieved with perserverance and experience, not with a lot of high-end gear.

Can I get outdoor or indoor shots?
In each session, I shoot digital images outdoors using natural lighting and also indoors using studio lighting and backdrops. If you have a preference, let me know and I'll do my best to achieve results you like. Sessions usually last just over an hour.

Is re-touching included?
My work is carefully re-touched where necessary to ensure you achieve the best possible image for submission to castings. Re-touching can do wonders on any headshot, however, it's most important that your headshots look like you!

How long is each headshot session?
Sessions usually last just over an hour, but we'll have as long as it takes to get results that work for you!
